Green Day, Fall Out Boy & Weezer Announce ‘Hella Mega Tour’ & New Music – Rock Sound News

It’s official Green Day, Fall Out Boy and
Weezer heading out together on the ‘Hella Mega’ tour. Hi guys, James Wilson-Taylor here for Rock Sound, now after a week of constant teasing involving
secret websites, Dwight Schrute, wrongly named t-shirts, mysterious billboards and
odd looking hashtags we finally have confirmation that Green
Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer will all be hitting the road together next year on
the ‘Hella Mega Tour’ all three acts of course have a long history together – Fall
Out Boy inducted Green Day into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame while Pete Wentz
recently appeared in Weezer’s music video for ‘Can’t Knock The Hustle’ playing
the role of a disgruntled Uber driver the three bands will be playing stadiums
together and will be hitting the UK on June 24th in Glasgow at Bellahouston
Park 26th in London at the London Stadium and on the 27th in Huddersfield
at the John Smith Stadium. The Interrupters will open the shows and
tickets go on sale September 20th at 10 a.m. local time but as if that wasn’t
enough excitement on its own all three bands have also dropped some brand-new
music today let’s start off with Green Day shall we? They have released their
new single ‘Father Of All…’ taken from their 13th studio album due for release
on February 7th 2020. Fall Out Boy meanwhile have dropped a new single
featuring Wyclef Jean entitled ‘Dear Future Self (Hands Up)’ which
will feature on their upcoming best of album ‘Greatest Hits: Believers Never
Die vol 2’ set for release on November 15th.
Finally Weezer have unleashed the first taste of their upcoming album ‘Van Weezer’
entitled ‘The End Of The Game’. We’ll bring you more info as we have it but for now
yes three brand new songs from three massive bands all hitting the road
