Happy Holidays From ValveTime 2012 + Christmas Giveaway

Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hi, and welcome to a very special ValveTime video! We’d like to take a few minutes to say Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday to all of our subscribers, likers, followers, viewers, and site members. We all hope you’re having a great Christmas and we hope your New Year celebration will be just as good. Don’t forget to check out the daily deals over at the Steam winter sale, thanks to my friend Gabe! It’s been a busy year for us here at ValveTime. We’ve rebranded ourselves, broken a whole lot of news and gained a lot of friends and partners. We’ve also had over a million YouTube views, 8,000 subscribers, several thousand followers on Facebook and Twitter, and several million visitors to our site. None of that would have been possible without you. Yes, you! You right there; the one sitting chewing on the piece of turkey. Hope you’re enjoying it. Just be sure to clean your shirt afterwards. It looks like you’ve dropped some gravy on it. [Heavy]
Ohh! This is bad!! To celebrate the yearly gift-giving season, we’re going to give away a copy of Civilization 5 and 6 copies of Dota 2 to a few lucky winners. All you have to do is…wait. Yes, wait until tomorrow, December 26th, 2012, then head over to our Facebook page and be sure to like us while you’re there. At a random time tomorrow, we’ll upload a status saying “Did you all enjoy your turkey?” All you’ll have to do to be in with the shot at winning is to comment on that status with a reply. You could say “yes” or “no,” or you could be inventive and let us know what presents you got. Anything will do. Later that day, we’ll upload another status announcing that the contest is over. We will then select 7 people from the list and contact them via private message, letting them know which game they’ve won and how to claim it. Another status will follow, letting you all know who won, just in case you haven’t checked your inbox and, who knows? We might just give away a few more games on our Facebook page, but you’ll just have to wait and see. [whispering]
Here’s a hint: we will… Good luck to everyone and enjoy Christmas and the new year. We’ll be back at our usual ValveTime Weekly News Round-Up schedule after our Christmas break on Saturday the 5th of January. Now, if you’ll excuse me… Gabe and I aren’t quite done delivering the presents yet! Better get back to the sleigh! Bye for now. [Sniper]
[LAUGHS] It’s like Christmas morning.
