Will Gonzalo Higuain be in Fantasy Football this weekend?

Stamford Bridge on loan until the end of the season. The 31-year-old was in action as recently as last night for current loan side AC Milan against parent side Juventus. But he now looks set to be on his way out of the Serie A, and into the Premier League. The Guardian report Juventus are set to confirm an agreement with Chelsea for the player today. Higuain is then expected to fly to London and complete a medical as soon as possible. But will he be available for selection in your fantasy football team this weekend? That will depend on whether Chelsea complete the deal before Friday’s deadline of midday. The Blues travel to Arsenal this weekend in a crunch clash in both sides bid for a top four finish. And boss Maurizio Sarri would no doubt welcome a player of Higuain’s calibre to his squad at the nearest opportunity. The Italian isn’t the only one though, with several keen Fantasy Football players urging Chelsea and Juventus to get a deal done as soon as possible. One tweeted: “@ChelseaFC announce higuain so I can transfer him into Fantasy football.” “Can Higuain hurry up I want him in my fantasy football #BigHig,” wrote another. One confident player wrote: “If Gonzalo Higuain joins Chelsea, I will immediately sell Firmino and add Higuain to my Fantasy football manager and Captain him against Arsenal.” It is not known how much the Argentine would cost, but he is not expected to be available on the cheap. One avid player tweeted his prediction: “I reckon a price point of between 10.0 or 10.5.” That would position him around the price range of the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Gabriel Jesus.
